Selective School Practice Tests Online
Most Australian states offer gifted and talented students select entry into exclusive public schools or educational enrichment programs. Many private schools also offer scholarships to students on the basis of academic achievement in similar tests.
At Test Champs, we provide practice test packages tailored for each individual state’s select entry exam and practice material for scholarship exams. Different states have different formats of tests. For example, the number of questions and time may differ across states. There is a Thinking Skill test in NSW but not in other states.
For this reason, all practical assessments are provided online and are purposefully designed by Test Champs to provide students with essential practice for the tests in their states.

Frequently Asked Questions
The selective school test is essentially a test by the Education Department of each state to identify students with high potential and to offer them a special program in a government high school that caters to hone the gifts or talents of these students.
The selective school test in each state is slightly different. Generally, these tests identify students with exceptional academic ability evident by good written communication skills and strong logical thinking skills. As these tests are used to identify exceptional students, they are different to the conventional school tests or NAPLAN tests. Students who are successful in getting an offer need to do much better than other students taking the test. For example, more than 15000 students in NSW sit for the selective test each year, with only 3600 getting an offer in a selective school.
The number of questions in a selective school test depends on the state and the particular test itself. For example, there is only one question for the Writing Test. There can be a minimum of 30 over questions for other tests, such as the Reading, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning Tests.
